This new release from Headline Books, Inc., Eva from E-ville, continues the Starlette Universe global themes of good vs. evil, with Eva representing all that is bad in the world. Book 2 of writer-poet-punster Kathy Johnson's Starlette Universe series sees villainous witch Eva launch vicious attacks against her teen-queen rivals—the Starlettes—who are freshmen at Spruce Pine High. The six Starlettes appeared in Pageantry Magazine for seven years and became the basis for the Starlette Universe series. Eva from E-ville is the second book in the middle-grade series. Kathy Johnson is an attorney and mother of Miss Vermont 1999 and Miss Vermont USA 2001 as well as a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the University of Georgia. She is a J.D. graduate from the University of Florida School of Law.

Illustrator Dick Kulpa (a/k/a Captain Cartoon) published Cracked Magazine and is creator of Bat Boy (Bat Boy the Musical) and thrice-syndicated as a newspaper comic strip artist for Tribune Media Services and the LA Times Syndicate (Ghost Story Club, Bruce Lee and Star Trek).
