Q. What genre do you like to write?
A. Eva from Eville is written in a new ‘diction of fiction’ – which I call ‘piction’.

Q. If you were to branch out from your current genre, which one would you explore?
A. 'Piction’ is what I’m fond of - and I'll always write in that genre.

Q. How long have you been writing? What prompted you to start writing?
A. I gave kids'-book writing a go – when God gave me a wake-up call many years ago.

Q. What inspires you to write?
A. It sometimes seems – like I write my dreams. But I also write on life lessons learned – so they can be remembered and discerned.

Q. When a story idea pops into your head, how long does it typically take to write it?
A. The entire outline for the Starlette tale – will take about 20 books to tell.

Q. What is the most difficult part of the writing process? The easiest?
A. The hardest: The timing – of the rhyming.
The easiest: Making the last book edit – and knowing it’s time to quit.

Q. Of all your characters, whom do you most relate to?
A. Skylar – by far.

Q. Is there one of your characters that you did not like when you started writing about her, but found yourself liking by the end of the story.
A. I feel sad for Eva and would be glad – if she turned away from being bad.

Q. What do you hope to accomplish through your books?
A. I hope youth choose positive life-styles – when they face temptations, strife and trials.

Q. What is the take-away from your books?
A. I want teens to memorize and rehearse - how to deal with problems by reciting verse.

Q. Tell us about your books? Where can people find them?
A. Good and evil are the global themes – as are friendship and self-esteem.
